(State Land Grant) in Lincoln County, North
Carolina on June 30, 1797 and 70 acres more in the same area on
March 8, 1799.
Residences: The family moved to Tryon County (present day
Lincoln County) North Carolina by the 1770's. It's
unlikely that Jacob Mauney moved with his son's to Warren
County, Tennesse around 1810 based upon his age.
Jacob Mauney had two wives and children from each. The
names of Jacob Mauney's wifes is not known.
