Beach Origins
The name Beach is
principally of English origin although derivations of the name
have been traced to Normandy and Italy. The name has many spellings including
Beach,
Beech, Beche, Bech, Beck, Bec and Becke. The name Beach
was given to a person who lived in the woods or near a stream or
near a prominent Beech tree.
This Beach ancestral line emigrated to America from England in
the 17th century.
