John "the Pilgrim" Beach

John "The Pilgrim" Beach, son of Thomas Beach and Joan Hill, was born in 1623 in Saint Albans, Devon, England and died June 16, 1677 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.

He married Mary Staples in 1650 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut. 

Occupation:  Minister

Arrival:  John arrived in New Haven, Connecticut along with his two brother, Richard and Thomas, in 1638, 18 years after the Mayflower.  The brothers were accompanied on the trip by Reverand Peter Prudden and they made the voyage to the new world on the ship, Elizabeth and Ann. 

Mary Staples

Mary Staples was born in 1630 in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut and died 1677 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.

 

Children of John Beach and Mary Staples

Elizabeth Beach was born in March 28, 1652 and died between 1688 and 1694 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.   She married Eliasaph Preston. 

Nathaniel Beach was born in March 1662 in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut and died on January 22, 1739 in Connecticut
