Timothy Beach

Timothy Beach, son of Joseph Beach and Esther Mansfield, was born May 7, 1748 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut and died 1787 in Binghamton, New York.

He married Abigail Bennett in 1767 in New York.

Burial: On banks of Susquehanna River in New York according to family history

Residences and life events:  About 1781, Timothy and Abigail's eldest brother, Richard, explored the vacinity of modern day Unadilla, New York accompanied by an Indian guide.  After the exploratory trip, Tmothy moved the family to an area known as Wattle's Landing to settle on lands owned by Honorable Monson Betts.  Timothy drowned on a canoe trip on the Susquehanna River to modern day Athens, New York.  The body was discovered by Indians.  Family histories indicate they believed that Timothy was killed by a fellow traveler in this trip.  See family history at above link and family history by Gerald Darrow.

Abigail Bennett

Abigail Bennett, daughter of James Bennett and Sarah Reed, was born May 14, 1748 in New York and died  May 22, 1813 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.

Timothy Beach was born in 1884.

Jesse Mansfield Beach was born February 3, 1788 in Sidney, Unadilla, Otsego County, New York and died May 26, 1871 Burlington, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania

Benjamin Beach was born in 1788.
