Greene Slocum Family

David Greene

David Greene, son of James Greene and Elizabeth Anthony, was born June 24, 1677 in Portsmith, Rhode Island and died January 31, 1761/2 in Jamestown, Rhode Island.   He married Mary Slocum on May 11, 1699 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island.  Mary was the sister of Peter's wife, David's brother.

Occupation: Farmer. 

Other spouses: Sarah Barber married June 24, 1706.

Transactions:  In 1723, David indentured a slave girl, Hannah, to George Mumford.  (See transcription.)

Mary Slocum

Mary Slocum, daughter of Rev. Ebenezer Slocum and Mary Thurston, was born in June 21, 1679 and died between 1701 and 1706.
