 James H. McFerrin

James H. McFerrin, son of Samuel McFerrin and Unknown, was born about 1800 in Knox County, Tennessee and died after 1880.

He married Sarah Clapp on September 20, 1825 in Knox County, Tennessee.

Samuel McFerrin

Elizabeth McFerrin was born February 26, 1827 in Knox Co., Tenn. and died on February 11, 1903 in Clarinda, Iowa.  She married Isaac Newton Damewood.  Issac served in Company F, 29th Iowa Infantry in the Civil War.

Nancy M. McFerrin was born May 17, 1853 in Knox Co., Tennessee and died on January 9, 1913.  She married Elvin P. Damewood on June 28, 1849 in Dubois Co., Indianna.  Elvin served in Company K, 65th Indiana Infantry Regiment from 1862 to 1865,

William A. McFerrin was born April 8, 1835 in Knox Co., Tennessee and died September 29, 1923 in Page Co., Iowa.  He married Caroline M. Inman on October 10, 1855.  William served in Company D, 80th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment in the Civil War from 1862 to 1865.  He was imprisoned in the infamous Andersonville prison during the war.

Adaline McFerrin was born in 1838 in Knox Co., Tennessee.  She married Daniel S. Morgan on October 19, 1853 in Dubois Co., Indiana.

Parley "Polly" E. McFerrin was born in 1845 in Knox Co., Tennessee.  She married Johnathan Price on August 19, 1961 in Dubois Co., Indiana.
