Robert Potter

Robert Potter was born about 1609 in England and died in 1656 in Warwick, Rhode Island.  He married Isabel Tripp in 1640.

Occupation: Portsmouth Highway surveyor; deputy for Warwick in Rhode Island court, In keeper.

Residences and life:  Immigrated in 1634 or before to Massachusetts.  Admitted as a member of Roxbury church in 1634.  Listed as a freeman on September 3, 1634.  One of the 11 purchasers of Warwick land from Chief Miantonomo in January 12, 1643.  Excommunicated from Roxbury Church as follower of Groton.  Arrested by militia from Massachusetts in 1643.  His wife died from exposure after hiding from militia.

Isabel Tripp

Deliverance Potter was born in 1637 and died in 1664. 

John Potter was born about 1640September 28,1660.  He married Ruth Fisher, daughter of Edward Fisher, on June 2, 1664 in Warwick, Rhode Island.   

Elizabeth Potter was born about 1641.  She married Richard Harcutt
