Patrick was an Irish immigrant who became a naturalized citizen of the United
States in 1840 in Frederick County, Maryland. He married
Rebecca McGee on
July 27 1840 in Frederick County, Maryland.
Rebecca McGee was born in Virginia and died
between February and October 1849. After her death, the
orphaned children were separated to live with different families
in the Middleton District of Frederick County, Maryland.
Her
will established an estate for her children and an executor,
Peter Schlosser, but did not establish guardians for her
children.
