Chester Warren Beach

Chester "Chet" Warren Beach, son of Warren Lewis Beach and Mary Jane Treat, was born November 21, 1894 in Lamar, Barton County, Missouri and died July 6, 1971 in Norton, Norton County, Kansas.  

He married Lula Faye McKie December 11, 1916 in Phillipsburg, Kansas.  (See wedding photograph and license)

Occupations : Farmer in Lincoln Township, Norton County, Kansas until 1962.  He also worked part-time for the Hill City sale barn.  See farm photograph and location.

Residences: Chet Beach moved with his family as an infant to near Bloomington, NB and then in 1910 moved to Norton County, Ks near Densmore.  After marriage, his initial residence was a sod house located north of Densmore, KS.  Then in 1926, he built a frame house on their land (see purchase record), which they had purchased from Faye's parents the prior year.  The house was later expanded and modernized and several additional buildings and improvements made to their home site over the years.  After retiring from farming in 1962, they moved to a house located in Edmund, KS.

Lula Faye McKie

She was born April 9, 1896 in Phillips County, Kansas and died September 7, 1974 in Norton, Norton County, Kansas, daughter of Samuel McKie and Martha Jane "Mattie" Lee.
